Main Weapons
Early Assault Rifle
In the beginning, it’s recommended to use the Assault Rifle AR23 Liberator that you have from the start. It has a good balance of damage and fire rate, with minimal recoil, making it easy to handle even for beginners. Since there aren’t any stronger weapons available early on, stick with the initial Assault Rifle for a while.
SMG-37 Defender
Following the initial Assault Rifle, the SMG-37 Defender is a good choice. Although it’s a submachine gun, it packs more power than the Assault Rifle. With lower rate and recoil, it’s easier to shoot. Additionally, being one-handed, you can use it even when carrying something during missions. You can acquire it through War Bonds, found on the third page, so earn some medals and exchange them.
Secondary Weapons
P-19 Redeemer
For secondary weapons, the P-19 Redeemer is recommended. You can exchange it on the second page of the acquisition center’s War Bonds. With higher fire rate and damage than the initial pistol, it’s perfect for dealing with close-range weaker enemies.
Support Weapons
These are weapons deployable in strategic support. Since they’re separate from main and secondary weapons, set at least one before starting the mission. Support weapons can replenish magazines using ammo crates, just like regular weapons. Once equipped, you can use them multiple times without waiting for cooldowns.
Machine Gun
For support weapons, the machine gun is recommended. It’s incredibly powerful with a large magazine, making it useful against groups or tough enemies. Unlocking the “Donation Access” through Fleet Modules increases the magazine size, allowing you to fight till the end with just this weapon. You can replenish ammo through resupply even after death, although its slow reload is a drawback, making it slightly challenging to use solo.
Stalwart
Another recommended support weapon is the Stalwart. While slightly less powerful than the machine gun, it allows reloading while moving. With sufficient firepower, it’s more user-friendly compared to the machine gun and equally potent as a primary weapon.
Grenade Launcher
The grenade launcher is also recommended. Its explosive capabilities make it particularly effective for destroying Termite nests. It makes mission completion a breeze by easily demolishing nests, so it’s great to bring along for missions with many nests.
Railgun
Once you reach level 20, prioritize unlocking the railgun. It’s a support weapon capable of penetrating armor. Whether facing heavily armored enemies or pesky Chargers, simply aim for the head for easy takedowns. Although the description mentions a charge requirement, it only involves reloading after each shot, which isn’t much of a downside. Use it actively in high-difficulty missions where tough enemies appear.
